Softwood Chip, ideal for paths, play areas and weed suppression.
This is a formal looking, lighter coloured chip that will darken with weathering. Due to the shape of the woodchips, it beds down well on paths and play areas and can be used to make a feature of borders or seating areas in the garden.
1 Tonne Bag - covers approx. 6m² at a depth of 100mm.
Bag Measurement = 85cm x 85cm x 85cm (approx. 600 litres).
How much woodchip do I need?
For weed suppression, we recommended that Softwood Chip is laid at a depth of between 100m and 150mm.
For play areas, a depth of between 200mm – 300mm is recommended.
