About Us
Established in 1985, J & S Vicary are a family run business offering a wide range of forestry services, wood fuel products and garden supplies. We believe that our natural environment is precious and recognise that it is our responsibility to work sustainably. Our timber is harvested in accordance with the relevant felling licences or woodland management plans, and we engage the services of ecologists to ensure that nesting birds are not disturbed.

You can purchase your items online and pick them up from our yard within one or two hours, sometimes even less. Best of all, ordering online and picking up allows you to save on shipping fees and avoid shipping time. To avoid any delay on arrival, we recommend calling our friendly team on 01430 872292 in advance to advise your estimated arrival time.
Delivery Info
Delivery of bulk products is available to most UK mainland destinations either by pick up and trailer or 48-hour Palletline service. After placing your order online, delivery is usually available within 2-3 working days. One of our friendly team will contact you by the end of the next working day, to agree a delivery date. Local Delivery Zones Information Within a 35-mile radius of YO43 4LY, bulk bags are delivered by pick up and trailer. The delivery charge is calculated at checkout according to zone, weight and distance. Our driver will require sufficient, level access to deliver to your property. Otherwise, delivery will be kerbside only. Your order will be craned off the delivery trailer and placed as close to your required position as possible. Please note that the driver is not permitted to manoeuvre bags by hand and can only provide a log stacking service, if this option has been selected when placing your order. Nationwide Pallet Delivery Information Delivery to other areas of the UK is made by Mainland UK Palletline 48hr delivery service (delivery areas exclude the Highlands and Islands). The delivery zone charge is calculated at checkout by size, weight and distance. Your order will be film wrapped on a pallet and due to the size and weight of the consignment, the delivery driver will require sufficient, level access to deliver to your property. Otherwise, delivery will be kerbside only. Where possible the driver will then use a pump truck to place the consignment as close to your required position as physically possible. Please note that pump trucks will not operate on soft ground or loose gravel. Royal Mail Parcel Delivery Smaller items are available for delivery via Royal Mail parcel service at their standard prices. Where available, this option will be available at check out and the delivery charge will be calculated according to the size and weight of your order.
